Founded in 1945, the Swiss Senior Golfers Association has, during this half-century and under the chairmanship of no less than 14 successive Presidents, been striving to develop golf competitions, friendly games and close relationships among Swiss Senior Golfers and those of others Senior European Associations.
It was only the 28th of October 1997, however, that the Association was legally constituted according to article 60 of the Swiss Civil Code. Although there is no direct affiliation with the ASG (Swiss Golf Association) both Associations maintain close relationship and collaboration.
